About this event:
Swiss wine starts right on our doorstep. As part of the Swiss Wine Weeks, we are turning our focus to Zurich and Schaffhausen—two German-speaking Swiss regions producing wines of surprising diversity.
Neither of these wine regions can be reduced to a single grape variety or a shared uniform style. Diverse microclimates, soils, and distinct winemaking philosophies give rise to individualistic wines that express origin and personality in wonderfully varied ways.
Two visionary winemakers, two regions, and two distinct signatures. We are thrilled to welcome Núria Ferré from Weingut Lindenhof in Osterfingen and Markus Weber from Turmgut on the right bank of Lake Zurich in person this evening. Both follow their own path in viticulture, shaping their wines with clear vision and an acute sense of terroir and character. Together, we will taste selected wines from their cellars as Núria and Markus share insights into their craft and the philosophy behind every bottle.
Accompanied by an apéritif, this relaxed evening offers the perfect setting to taste, compare, and experience two remarkable styles of Swiss-German winemaking firsthand.
