Retrospective
Treasures of the Swiss Wine Elite
Rare cellar selections from Switzerland's premier estates: meet two dozen past laureates of the Vintage Awards (2022–2026) who have proven their ability to craft age-worthy bottles, and taste two of their flagship cuvées across three distinct stages of maturity. Making an exclusive appearance at this second edition of the Retrospective are luminaries such as Marie-Thérèse Chappaz and Rico Lüthi, who are unable to participate in this year's Grand Tasting.
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Swiss Wine Vintage Award 2026
The Pinnacle of the 2016 Vintage
An annual showcase proving the often-underestimated cellaring potential of Swiss wines: let certified sommeliers pour the truth into your glass as you evaluate the current drinking window of these ten-year-old vintages. Over 70 top-scoring, award-winning bottles will be available for open walk-around tasting.
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Masterclass
World-Class Wines from Geneva
An exclusive masterclass designed especially for aficionados of great Bordeaux-style blends: join Geneva wine icon Jean-Pierre Pellegrin of Domaine Grand’Cour (Peissy) in conversation with Dr. Ulrich Sautter, wine journalist and Editor-in-Chief for Wine at Falstaff Germany, who is kindly stepping in for Stephan Reinhardt (sidelined due to a shoulder injury). Featuring a vertical tasting of selected vintages of his Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon assemblage dating back to 2006, the duo will explore the stylistic evolution and aging prowess of this Geneva cult classic. Their commentary will be enriched by scientific insights from internationally acclaimed ampelographer and geneticist Dr. José Vouillamoz.
