About this event:

South of the city of Bordeaux, in the Garonne River basin, distinctive wines are produced in lesser-known appellations such as Cadillac, Loupiac, and Premières Côtes de Bordeaux. Five family-run wineries are bringing select wines from these subregions to Zurich, showcasing the diversity of the Bordeaux region—from dry white wines and red wines to noble sweet specialties.

As part of a pairing lunch for importers and a pairing masterclass for all industry guests, the producers will present their wines paired with selected dishes. During the walk-around tasting that follows, guests can sample additional wines from the participating wineries.

Wine journalist Britta Wiegelmann, who has had close ties to Bordeaux for many years, will guide guests through the day, offering in-depth insights into the region.

Participating wineries include:

  • Château Sainte Marie
  • Château Prieuré Sainte Anne
  • Château du Payre
  • Vignobles Olivier Fleury
  • Vignobles Medeville & Fils
